Pearce Sees The Light As Jack Stays Home

Pearce Sees The Light As Jack Stays Home

England under 21s manager, Stuart Pearce has finally taken the sensible step of ruling Jack Wilshere out of the up coming International tournament.

Pearce had previously risked the wrath of Wenger after saying he was taking Jack and that was that. However after some well placed comments regarding Jack and Liverpool`s Andy Carrol, Pearce has opted to leave the pair at home.

'Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere will not be part of the Under 21 squad which travels to Denmark. Andy has been ruled out through injury,' said on the FA`s website

'I spoke to Jack last week and he explained that while he told me in March that he wanted to be part of the squad, he now feels he is not in the best condition to take part in the finals.'

'I spoke to Jack last week and he explained that while he told me in March that he wanted to be part of the squad, he now feels he is not in the best condition to take part in the finals.'

'That is based on the number of games he has played for Arsenal this season, sports science data which Jack was presented with last week and concerns he has for his fitness looking ahead to next season.

'Jack has always expressed his enjoyment at being involved with the U21 squad, and while I am disappointed not to have him with us for the finals I've accepted the situation. I am very conscious of the importance of looking after all our players, and that is why I have frequent conversations with club managers throughout the season.

Wenger had also commented that Wilshere would miss pre-season and the start of the new season claiming the young Englishman would need a lengthy rest after a gruelling campaign in which he took part in more than 50 games followed with the Under 21s tournament.

However now we should have a rested and refreshed Jack Wilshere ready for the new season.

Good work Arsenal, Pearce is too much of a clump to realise we actually sent Arshavins data to him :)

Great news. Wilshere would certainly benefit from a proper pre season to take his game up another notch for the new season. If he adds goals to his game he would develop into a near complete midfielder.

I have spent the afternoon listening to commentary on this matter and I have to say Wenger is coming in for a huge deluge of criticism. And, in my view, with every justification. Two points are important here. Firstly Wilshire was presented with a compendium of statistics which 'showed' him he was tired. Well no ***** sherlock! Wilshire has been utterly rinsed by Wenger this season, exploited would be a good word for it. Why? Because of Wenger's incompetence. He couldn't get his act together and sort his squad out and so Wilshire has been forced to play over and over again. In fact, he has spent more time on the pitch than any other Arsenal player! *****ed over by Wenger. Now he's been tricked by the old man into missing out on one of the most important moments of his career! Seriously, you couldn't make it up. And, when he starts to break down Wenger will start trying to blame the tackling of other teams. The truth, as everybody knows, is that Wenger is using this lad as a human shield to protect his arse and his 6 million a year job. I hope Fabregas gets the move he years for and escapes this professional bully. I wish him well. I actually feel sad for Wilshire.

A good pre-season? What you mean dragging Wilshire's arse around China as a publicity stunt, so Arsenal plc can try to cash in the popularity of the premier league, so they can set up sweat shops in Beijing, selling millions of pounds worth of rubbish to peasants? I wonder if Wenger will have a clipboard of stats showing how 'tired' he is then, when the money men come calling, demanding their pound of Wilshire's flesh? I doubt it. This is all stems back to Wenger and his failings, which somebody for some reason wants to cover up. Shameful.

Wenger has always been opposed to world globetrotting whoring but don't let the truth or anything close get in the way of your dribbling rancour against the bloke.

"one of the most important moments of his career" - HAHAHAHA! Do you know anything about football?
