Positive Comments From a 'Happy' Fabregas

Positive Comments From a 'Happy' Fabregas

As long as Cesc Fabregas is an Arsenal player there is always going to be speculation linking him to Barcelona, it`s something we`ll just have to learn to live with. Fortunately for us Cesc, is a very intelligent man who knows that despite feeling the pull to return to his native Barcelona, things at Arsenal can be good for him too.

Fabregas has always spoken well to the media and maintained a great rapport with the Arsenal faithful, and even as we brace ourselves for another summer of discontent, the Arsenal captain is still saying all the right things. Not abandoning his wish to play for Barca at the same time maintaining a love for Arsenal and it`s fans.

Speaking at a promotional event Cesc sounded as though he didn`t really mind if he stays or goes, either would be good. 'A player who is not frustrated at not winning titles is either lying to himself or lacks ambition."

'There is a good team and a good manager and one of the most faithful fan bases in Europe. With those I believe we can make progress and one day win an important trophy."

'I am an Arsenal player. I have been very happy for eight years and I am very happy. I am not thinking about football right now, just about my holidays. There have been no decisions. The truth is that it doesn't always depend on the player and at the moment I don't know anything."

'He (Wenger) is the boss, the one who makes the decisions. You should ask him. I was injured at the end of the season and I haven't seen him for about six weeks. I am very happy where I am. Anything else would be speculation that is untrue. You can never say never in this life as so many things happen that you can never predict.
'

Good head on his shoulders that lad.

Nasri's REAL agent, not the bogus one on Twitter, said that Nasri's priority is to work out a deal with Arsenal. But this is good news too- I think it was the Times who said a few days ago that Cesc was going to put in a transfer request, which is obviously untrue. This statement won't stop the rags from twisting his words- and some already have. You can't blame him for wanting the play for a successful club he has supported since youth and is full of his friends, but you must also be impressed by his loyalty to Arsenal.

Very sensible comments from Cesc. What will be, will be.

It’s fairly clear that Barcelona don’t have the cash to make a move for Cesc so I am very confident that he will be an Arsenal player next season. Cesc will know that Barcelona cannot afford him at the moment and seems to be quite pragmatic about it; after all, he has time on his side. His move will come when his contract is set for renewal when he will be in his prime and more able to get a regular midfield berth for the divers. Sorry did I say “divers”? I meant cheats.

Personally from a neutral perspective if I was Fabregas I would be insulted that Barcelona are willing to go the ends of the Earth to sign Ibrahimovic for a deal worth over 60 mil but won't fork up the money to sign the born and bred, Barca DNA bearing Catalonian who was 'stolen'. Not only that but they would prioritise Villa, Afellay, Sanchez, etc, etc above him, despite constantly boasting about how they want him. Cesc, if Barca did care they would've met Arsenals demands ages ago rather than playing backhand tactics to try and make you unhappy at Arsenal.

I read today that Banger told some French paper that Cesc wants to go to Barca...I bet he will've said what we all know; that Cesc wants to go to Barca at some point. But of course the way the paper want to report it is that he wants to go now and is unhappy. I hate lazy journalism!!

Players should learn to say No comment to certain questions. I would like to see them twist your words when you flatly refuse to answer it. Unless they can read body language of course
