Barca Don't Rate You Cesc, To Us, You're Priceless

As Cesc Fabregas yet again conducts himself with grace and style ahead of another "will he, won`t he" summer, Barcelona have shown their true colours, in a statement that will just show him exactly why he should stay with the Gunners.

Whilst Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans fight tooth and nail to keep our prized asset, Barca`s top boy claims Fabregas isn`t even worth what they offered last summer.

Barca`s offer of what was believed to be around £35M 12 months ago was branded derisory by everyone connected with Arsenal (especially when you consider they shelled out £60M for Ibrahimovic) and now they are saying he`s not even worth that.

Rosell said: 'If last summer we offered €40m for Cesc, and since there has been wear and tear, now he's worth less.'

So there you go Cesc, your beloved Barca don`t even rate you highly enough to pay £35M, they have no intention of stumping up the readies needed, they don`t want you for any other reason than that they believe they`re entitled to you.

We want you. To us you`re priceless. Stay with us and be a legend.

To play for Barcelona, if you're a Catalan, is like playing for your country. It's simply to your good fortune that he happens to be the weakest of his generation in midfield and therefore not worth to them what he is to you. He can stay and accept fourth best in the premier league although I reckon a sneaky move from United could be on the cards.

TRH is back with his amazing footballing knowledge. Cesc is still under contract and if you think we'd sell him to United then I'd suggest the windows you've been licking have been coated in some kind of hallucinogenic.

Just because you spuds like to see your best assets go to United, does not mean we will. I think its more likely you will see Modric leave this season than Fabregas, Chelsea will come back with 30m and Levy does not have the balls to turn them down

WTF is this "wear and tear" bull-s-h-i-t? By that logic Cronaldo and Messi are worth less this year than last year. What a moronic comment.

Fabregas would only ever leave Arsenal for one team, if that idiot really thinks he'd move to United he's a joke, like most United fans are. I think it's outrageous that Barca don't think Cesc is worth that much, especially when Liverpool have just paid 22mil for Henderson! But yeah, I'm not moaning I'd absolutely love to see Cesc stay!

'I'd suggest the windows you've been licking have been coated in some kind of hallucinogenic', rofl Rocky. I lost a lot of respect for Cesc last summer, hopefully more of the attitude he's shown so far this one continues. Another reason Barca are rumoured to not value (or covet) Cesc as highly as they have in the past is the emergence of young Thiago, lets hope for our sake his development continues.

I hope if Cesc Stays that Arsene has the Bottle to take the Captain Armband OFF him. I think that RvP should be The Arsenal CAPTAIN and Arsene should think about make Jack vice Captain!

I was of the same mind when he was openly flirting with them last summer, but I disagree if he keeps this attitude up. He is the most natural leader at the club. RvP is a brilliant footballer, but he still has a bit of that Henry attitude about him, the castigating looks, the frustrated gestures. And Jack is a very promising young footballer, but has yet to show any signs of true leadership qualities (being English is not a leadership quality, no matter how much the media may say different).

All we need is a fully committed Cesc and things could just begin to happen for the club again. This comment by Sandro could be the tonic needed; though, you never know with footballers and the game as things can change very quickly.

Mhmmm. The club has released 3 youngsters: Mark Randall, Thomas Cruise and Roarie Deacon. Feel for Tom Cruise as I thought he had a future here, if for nothing else, for his name :-)

Not a round that really saw any upsets with the majority of those expected into the quarter-finals making it - arguably West Ham's win against Chelsea was the only one.
