'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Motta? No Matter! But Maybe Mata! Huh?

Flimsy reports claiming Inter Milan midfielder, Thiago Motta, had turned down an opportunity to join the Gunners has been rubbished by his agent.

Infact, he claimed there was no offer for him to turn down in the first place, and he`s staying put at the Italian giants.

'The player has never turned down an offer from Arsenal." said his agent.

'He wants to remain at Inter and if the coach (Gian Piero) Gasperini wants him, he will continue to wear the Nerazzurri colours.'

Meanwhile reports continue to circulate that Wenger is readying a bid for Valencia`s Juan Matta.

The cynics among you might think that this was just an opportunity to be silly ......

We can always hope. He's a class player!

Mata strikes me as very much an Arsenal player, but my gut feeling is he would be a replacement signing.

Our interest in Mata would make sense if one out of Nasri and Fab exits the club. He is closer to Nasri than Fab though he makes many assists too. He is quick, tricky, creative and can shoot with either foot.

Why is Wenger still in charge of Arsenal? Cesc not on the plane to Asia.. Gibbs to replace Clichy. Vermaelen is LANS (courtesy arseblog).. I thought he was responsible only to fans. Dont see anyone other a minority still believing in him.
Sajit
As long as Mata doesn't have Valencia DNA.......
Will-i-am10
Real Madrid could argue Mata has their DNA..

Please, no more spaniards who feel homesick after one or two seasons.
