Arsene Wenger says Thierry Henry and Billy Gallas both have very little chance of playing in next weekends Carling Cup final. Wenger has maintained that he will stick with his policy of playing the youngsters and fringe players.
Despite Wenger`s constant insistence that he will not be fielding his first XI, every pundit and his goldfish has said that Wenger will likely filed something close to his first team against Chelsea next Sunday.
Wenger has once again come out and said that he will play the players that have taken part so far, stating that it would be unfair on the players who have done Arsenal oh so proud so far in the competition.
"I will play the players who have made the whole campaign," said Wenger.
"They must have contributed at least one game. This competition is a bit special for me so I will keep it special to the end.
"Jens is suspended anyway. William Gallas, I don't think he has a chance to play and Thierry will not be involved either. It would not be fair to play the big players.
"Thierry knew from the start that he was not involved in this competition anyway."
There is one way that Thierry will line up against Chelsea next week - if Arsenal suffer another injury crisis in the next 7 days: "Listen. I can`t say today he [definitely] won't play. If we have three injuries he will play.
'You can never say never in our job. But, basically, if everybody is available he will not play.'
