Arsenal Confirm Chu Young Park Signing

Arsenal Football Club have confirmed the signing of Chu Young Park from French side Monaco.

Chu Young Park, a 26 year old striker, signed for the Gunners from Monaco the day before the close of the transfer window.

He`s not a player I can claim to know anything about, but he`s definitely happy to be here.

'I am very honoured and I feel very happy to be at Arsenal. It is a dream to be here and I am really proud to be an Arsenal player. Now I just want to show how good I am and prove myself."

'In my opinion this is a great club, now I have to show what I can do on the pitch. I will do my best, I will never give up, I will show heart, I will give everything and I hope [the fans] will support me.'

Park will wear the number 9 shirt this season.

Welcome to the club "Ju", we hope you have a long and happy stay.

I hope beyond all hope that he's the first of many to come in, I'd love to see Mertersacker AND Cahill arriving but I know that wont happen - it will be the big German only and Santos from Fenerbahce and possibly M'villa but Hazard may be a no go....

Ju, Santos and hopefully Hazard next.

Ju, perfect age with a lot of first team experiences

welcome aboard! You'll replace the greatest striker in the world in Nicklas Bendtner, big shoes to fill :)

It's very quiet on the MF front isn't it? cutting it very fine yet again.

Looks like the only signing that gets me remotely interested. :)

Shirt sales will easily cover his transfer fee when we do another pre-season tour of asia next year.

Arsenal have been turned into a feeder club as the rest of us have, i think its disgraceful how many foreign players you lot haver in your team each week it shouldnt be allowed arsenal should join the french league!

I saw Park play for the national team when I lived in Korea. He's typical Korean in the sense that he'll run and run until he can run no more without a moment of complaint. That's usually a long time after his opposite number has stopped. I reckon we could do with the work ethic.

Clive even ignoring the xenophobic part of your statement, you have 9 British players in your squad and so do we. In any case, the nationality of the squad didnt help you get CL football for years so why does it matter.
Deltaforce
wow, Park's french parents must be *****ed.
Sajit
At this point I'm loving your progress at Arsenal. Imagine domination by the Manchester clubs. We do not want an SPL do we. Keep signing good players and make the league competitive. From a Chelsea fan
