William Gallas returned to action on Saturday after a lengthy layoff with a thigh injury. Speaking after the game Billy expressed his delight to be back and firmly believes Arsenal can win all 3 cup competitions this season.
Gallas completed 60 minutes in what I presume was a warm up for this weeks Champions League tie with PSV.
Later Gallas said,'We are still in the FA Cup, Champions League and the Carling Cup. You never know, we could win everything.'
'I certainly believe we could at least get to the final of both the FA Cup and the Champions League.'
'We have the quality to win everything.'
Gallas also believes the Gunners can get one over his old club, despite him not playing in the Carling Cup final on Sunday.
'In the league we drew 1-1 at Chelsea with a young team. I know I won't be involved as the boss has already decided, but they can do it,' he said.
'This team is not afraid and they are improving all the time. When I arrived at Arsenal, I was so surprised by the quality of all these youngsters.'
The French centre back also revealed his frustrations at being out and his delight and coming back.
'Initially it seemed I would be out for a month or six weeks but it took longer, I don't know why,' said Gallas.
'I spoke with the boss and he told me to be patient but I'm not a patient person.
All the players helped me, but I became very down during the injury and it was the most frustrating spell of my career.'
'Now I can forget about that. I want to win things with Arsenal. The team played very well while I was away. They are young but have a lot of quality.'
