Gallas: We Can Win Everything

William Gallas returned to action on Saturday after a lengthy layoff with a thigh injury. Speaking after the game Billy expressed his delight to be back and firmly believes Arsenal can win all 3 cup competitions this season.

Gallas completed 60 minutes in what I presume was a warm up for this weeks Champions League tie with PSV.

Later Gallas said,'We are still in the FA Cup, Champions League and the Carling Cup. You never know, we could win everything.'

'I certainly believe we could at least get to the final of both the FA Cup and the Champions League.'

'We have the quality to win everything.'

Gallas also believes the Gunners can get one over his old club, despite him not playing in the Carling Cup final on Sunday.

'In the league we drew 1-1 at Chelsea with a young team. I know I won't be involved as the boss has already decided, but they can do it,' he said.

'This team is not afraid and they are improving all the time. When I arrived at Arsenal, I was so surprised by the quality of all these youngsters.'

The French centre back also revealed his frustrations at being out and his delight and coming back.

'Initially it seemed I would be out for a month or six weeks but it took longer, I don't know why,' said Gallas.

'I spoke with the boss and he told me to be patient but I'm not a patient person.
All the players helped me, but I became very down during the injury and it was the most frustrating spell of my career.'

'Now I can forget about that. I want to win things with Arsenal. The team played very well while I was away. They are young but have a lot of quality.'

good on yer billy! great to see you back!
He will be immense for us!
hope we go n win all 3 trophies.............
just win the Champions League this season folks, that's all we want, just to have our name on that trophy, that'll be the most amazing feeling in the world for us..
You gotta be in it to win it! If we can get the core of the squad fit and ready for this decisive period of the season we will be there or there abouts.
Bearing in mind the FA draw today, who do you lot fancy? (don't say Eva Longoria or Angelina Jolie) Obviously, i want a Home draw and Not Arse, Chelski, or man U
Jacky B
I want Sp*rs, Plymouth or Watford and I dont care whether its home or away. We gotta beat Blackburn 1st tho!
Dont you want a classic semi then?
Jacky B
Ive got a semi but thats because you mentioned Angelina Jolie! :)
I set that up nice for you there! lol, but seriously?
Jacky B
not seriously have you got one!, but you wouldn't like to avoid us so we could play in the game prior to the final - :-)
Jacky B
Seriously tho Jacky B i thought we just had a classic semi final? At this stage you will either get a plum draw (plymouth at home) or a Premiership club and with Arsenal, United and The Financial Doping squad all still in the hat (who today announced lossed of 80 million) there will be no cup giveaway!
Classic for you maybe! but a one off would be better. I know there are some tough draws out there, but the closer you get (even if by means of Plum draws) then the more belief and drive you have. Plus, you don't get an extra medal for beating hard teams. So... Plymouth at home please.
Jacky B
Seen as we have seem to have had some nasty cup draws recently, I want Plymouth or Watford at home. I know you have to beat the best to win the cup, but an easier cup draw would be very much appreciated please!!!
Rocky you are fully aware we are getting Man U, or the Lotto chavs away from home so stop frontin! lol
you will beat either of them Home or Away. How many unbeaten are you now?
Jacky B
Jacky B we lead the North London cup semi Finals by 5-1 do you really want us?
Man Utd away is what I fully expect.......them or another dull tie against Boro.
yeah, i do - cos its a great big game.
Jacky B
Even if yous lost the carling cup semi both legs were quality games in both halves and extra time, entertaining to the end and i'd still be saying that if you fellas won, the football you played in the first half at WHL was close to Arsenal quality to bad you couldn't keep it up (not taking the *****).

Nice to see you back Ozi!!!
Spurs at home please, they'r e the most easiest team to beat, atleast for us :p..
Just visited the spuds site to view the article 'stadium decision within a year'. You have to love the little spuds don't you, all the comments to the article are slating our new ground!! As i said on there, the sound of jealousy is fantastic!!

Just seen this on by wenger....................I dont have much choice in the middle of the park and some players have played more games. For example, Gilberto played with Brazil so I decided to rest him on Saturday; Fabregas only played 15 minutes for Spain. At some stage Ill have to rest him but now I have Denilson, and Diaby has come back, so they can play cup games.....................I think we have a lot of choice in midfield with Diaby, Denilson, Cesc & Gilberto. I don't see why Denilson & Diaby can only play cup games, by that statement it doesn't seem wenger has much faith in either of them!!

Agree with luckys_10 just get the CL please...we need it.
AG, I agree, they are ready. Do we have more central midfielders than we need? Flamini is getting matches as well. I don't want to think about one of them leaving, I like our midfield the way it is.
