Congratulations To Jack & His Family

Jack Wilshere will no doubt have had his mood improved this week after becoming a dad for the first time.

The Arsenal midfielder was ruled out of action for up to 5 months following ankle surgery on Monday. But anyone thinking it might have just given him more time to spend playing FIFA 12 that his image is currently all over will have to think again after his girlfriend gave birth to his first son, Archie Jack Wilshere, yesterday afternoon.

Keen Twitterer, Wilshere told his followers the good news.

'The proudest day of my life today!
'Archie Jack Wilshere was born at 15.06 uk time and weighed 7lb 11oz. I am the happiest man in the world!'

Jack has had many moments to be proud of over the last two years, but undoubtly this achievement will give him the most lasting joy. Followed by anguish, annoyance, more joym some pain and tears followed by yet more joy when they move out.

I think everyone here will join me in saying congratulations to Jack and his family and wish him all the luck in the world ahead of this latest journey.

Jaysus how old is he? I know he's financially set for life already, but surely he's a bit young to be starting a family? Not judging him, just a bit bemused.

Let's hope the baby is not a cant like his dad - I suspect a hint of inbreeding going on here....

CONGRATULATIONS, hope mother and baby are well, Jack's a very good player, hope his not out of the game to long. Naoise, i should think the outgoings can be met, even at such a young age. lol...

How old are the spuds here I wonder? Gotta laugh at haters. They'd be here hating him if he was windmilling like Ledley down Faces, and here they are hating him for starting a family! That's pretty fecking tragic, anyone would think your own lives haven't exactly gone according to plan.
