'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Oxlade-Chamberlain Delighted With Debut U21 Goals

18 year old winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain picked up the match ball in England's emphatic 3-0 win over Iceland last night, after bagging his first U21 hattrick.

Speaking to the Daily Mail Alex's joy was clear for all to see.

'To get a hattrick and my first international goals. I'm happy with that,' beamed the player.

Remaining grounded though, he added.

'The most important thing was for the lads to win and to get more points to help us qualify.'

Stuart Pearce was equally delighted by his, as well as the teams' performance, and added.

'Alex was outstanding. He's a real talent and have us that cutting edge. He's a team member as well, his general all round performance was very, very good.'
