'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arteta Not Aiming To Replace Fabregas

Mikel Arteta has said he has no intentions of trying to replace Cesc Fabregas, he's simply going to focus on his own game.

Speaking to the press the 31 year old praised David Moyes for allowing the move as he believes it was a big chance and he had to take it, but he insisted he is a different type of player to Cesc and he is not going to try and fill those boots.

'I am not here to replace Cesc and I would be wrong to try that. My target is simply to try and reach my highest level as a player and to help the team.'

Level headed player. Cesc is irreplaceable, so best to be your own man.
