Hulking Hell - £87m Release Fee!?

The agent of striker Hulk has claimed that Arsenal have been in touch with Porto over a move for the player.

Teodoro Fonseca did however warn that any club interested in his client would need to meet a staggering and frankly ridiculous £87m release fee in his contract.

Fonseca admitted he was aware of Wenger's long standing interest in the player, but recent reports of a £23m offer was news to him.

'This Arsenal rumour is news to me but it is true that there has been contact before but nothing happened. I speak often with Porto and the figures have not changed. He will only be sold if someone pays the £100m.'

Erm, yeah right. Good luck with that Porto.

City 'll have him... and his nephew! 150 million for the pair.
Cape Town Spurs
LOL!!
ACLamp
Never saw him do anything decent anyway... £87? No chance.
damiano_tommassi
Surely even we would stretch to £87 Damiano? In £10 installments obviously :)
nikolaijns
We've played against him a couple of time recently and I haven't seen anything that would suggest he would be worth £8,7M nevermind £87M. The dude has been smoking some seriously good s**t.
Rocky7
Niko - good spot. But nope, wouldn't give them £87!
damiano_tommassi
I must admit to never having seen anything of him that suggests he is worth more than £10 million. Maybe I've missed all his good games or something, but as far as I was concerned it was Falcao who was the one we really missed out on. Still, at least we have Chamakh instead......eh?
LondonGooner
LondonGooner, more like you missed his good hour. Rocky7, the guy must be injecting some weird s**t on top of the smoking of the good stuffs. To even think you'd get 87m for a player that isn't called messi or scoring 30+ goals a season is just a whole bunch of stupid.
