Arshavin starting...uuh

ajwb, Gervinho has gone missing in games and is due some bench time to get himself back together. What better game than one in which he could have the butterflies to do so; he will be stronger coming in from the bench, I'd think.

Good luck tonight guys and gals.

You can we're missing a No 10 in this side, i.e. an advanced creative midfielder. Think AA23 could play that position if Arsene allowed it.

Goal at the very end. 3 points and top of our group! Not pretty, but will take it.

Fantastic performance! What a clean sheet that was. Well chuffed.

Didn't even notice; the last 3 touches for the goal were by the 3 subs. Is that Wenger genius or what?
Naijagunner
Koscielny was man of the match for me. Excellent performance and one of our most under rated players.

Will do his French National team aspirations a lot of good too, playing in front of his country men. Alex Song did a job out there tonight as well, though.

Gotta love a textbook smash and grab. Ram(bo)raid!

Very happy for Aaron and a bonus couple of points!! As for the missing No 10 I really think we missed a trick in not picking up Meireles. Exactly the type of player we lack and obviously surplus to requirements at Liverpool. I do think Ramsey will fill that role and He, Jack and Song will be plenty creative enough for years to come.
No 10
Kozzer was immaculate tonight, if he could just cut out the panic stricken look he often has about him he cold make sure Merts and Vman are playing for one slot alongside him. His pace, reading of the game, bravery and strength of tackle are excellent he just needs to learn and stay calm. "DON'T PANIC!!!"
