Koscielny Could Be A Legend

Robin van Persie believes that with a bit of fine tuning, Laurent Koscielny has to the potential to be one of the best defenders in the world.

Speaking to arsenal.com van Persie made the comments following the 26 year old's Man of the Match performance against Marseille.

'He played really well. From the moment he came here he's been really good. After just one season the French top division he came to Arsenal and I've always liked him - he's strong, quick, physically good, heads the ball well. For me, he has everything to be one of the top centre backs around. When you have all those things it just needs a little fine tuning here and thee to become one of the best defenders.'

High words of praise from the captain.

it's a bit too early to be talking like that, but Kos is definately the most under rated, under appreciated player in our squad. He's a great reader of the game, much like a certain Tony Adams.
