Vermaelen Back In Cup Squad

Vermaelen Back In Cup Squad

Thomas Vermaelen is back in the Arsenal squad for tonight's Carling Cup tie against Bolton.

Having not played since August 24, a reasonable run out tonight would be very welcome for the player as he bids to get back in the first team in the league.

It's possible he may even start the game.

Speaking to arsenal.com Wenger said.

'We want to win but Thomas has worked very hard physically so he should be ready. I have no decided who will start yet but we will try to find a good mixture.'

Full squad from.

Fabianski, Mannone, Squillaci, Vermaelen, Arshavin, Frimpong, Benayoun, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Coquelin, Ryo, Ju Young Park, Yennaris, Miquel, Ozyakup, Watt, Aneke, Boateng.
