We Should've Beat Marseille

We Should've Beat Marseille

Arsene Wenger was disappointed to see us not take our chances in the game against Marseille, because he thinks we deserved the win.

Speaking to the press after the game, the manager said.

'Van Persie had a great chance when he came on, overall I believe that you cannot just say that one player always makes the difference. Ramsey in the first half had two great chances and Gervinho had a great chance. In a game like that you expect to take one of those chances.'

Wenger did however see positives in the game in the form of our defence, even if we couldn't secure the victory.

'The positives are that we didn't concede a goal and Marseille had one shot on target and we know in the final third we can do better.'
