'If It's Football, It's Vital'

16 First Teamers On International Duty

Still sounds a phenomenal number to me. Anyway, the full list of international Gooners.

From the young to the old (er).

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is with the England U21 squad for their games against Iceland and Belgium.

Francis Coquelin is in the French U21 team for the games against Romania and Slovakia.

Theo Walcott is in the full England squad for the Spain and Sweden clashes.

Tomas Rosicky will be captaining the Czech Republic for their two legged match against Montenegro.

Thomas Vermaelen is in the Belgium squad for the Romania and France games.

Aaron Ramsey is in the Welsh squad for the friendly against Norway.

Andrey Arshavin will face off against Greece for the Russians.

Ju Young Park is in the South Korean squad for the games against the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.

Per Mertesacker will line up for the Germans against the Ukraine and Netherlands.

Robin van Persie is again in the Dutch squad as they face off against Switzerland and Germany.

Laurent Koscielny will face off against the USA and Belgium for the French.

Johan Djourou is in the Swiss squad for their games against Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski might room for the Polish in their encounters against Italy and Hungary.

Gervinho is in the Ivorian squad as they play South Africa.

And finally...

Alex Song is in the Cameroon squad for their games against Sudan and Morocco.

*ArsenalPrayerCircle* - please let them all return home safe & sound. Looking forward to the Germany - Netherlands game, except I'll be a nervous wreck watching RVP.
jaelle
Oh my good god. What are the chances each and everyone of them comes back safely? One can only be thankful for Fabregas, Xavi and Iniesta at this point.
Rocky7
Surely, we could work out an arrangment with their managers for lighter workloads in the friendlies, at least. This is scary stuff, tbh.16 off will certainly disrupt our current form; and yeah, Rocky, but for thos 3, it could have been 17 players off.
Naijagunner
Wow you mean we still have so many great players that are actually in both snr and jnr national teams and we are still complaining?? I think we should all join the Prayer Circle.
phreddy
i don't think we're complaining as such phreddy, more nervous! W've just started coming back after an horrendous 8 months, the last thing we need is injuries to key players while not even playing for us. Stay safe boys!
