'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arshavin Not Content With Bench

Andrey Arshavin has curiously said that whilst he's happy at the club, he will consider his future if he doesn't start starting more games.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard Arshavin said.

'Right now I don't think about changing clubs. If I will be benched for a very long time, then such an issue might be relevant. Wenger is a strict manager, he always helps when there are difficulties off the pitch, but nobody even thinks to talk him into changes when it comes to football issues.'

Arshavin adds.

'I wouldn't like to play for a Russian club other than Zenit and there were no contacts with Anzhi.'

Strangely timed interview really.

Reads more like a denial to me... 'if this happens, It might become relevant; could only go back to Zenit and haven't heard from those Russian lotto winners'. Has someone asked 'do Anzhi want to sign you?'?

Not too worried. He's our boy.

And absolutley underrated too.
Sajit
Definitely. What's his goals/assists return? It's pretty high, isn't it?
damiano_tommassi
He does fine against lower table clubs, e.g. Bolton in CC. However, he seems to lost his edge against stronger clubs. He definitely has great skills but not quite sure if he can contribute 90 min. games after games.

No player should be content on the bench. He's definately a luxury player though, especially when we're down to our back up left backs.
