'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arteta Lauds Robin van Persie

The midfielder has described RVP as one of the very best players he's ever played alongside.

Speaking to arsenal.com the former Evertonian said that van Persie's quality jumps out at you as soon as you see him on the pitch or on the training pitch.

'He is up there with the best three or four players I have ever played with. There is no effort when he plays, as a captain he is a really nice person who tries to help people.'

Yes this one really was just an excuse to use one of the new images!

And conversely a settled, happy and confident Mikel Arteta is a massive boon to the squad. Looks great in the red & white and looks like he's loving his footy.

Agreed Niko - Arteta has been a massive boost for us. Shame on those thinking he was a desperation buy, his quality, maturity and leadership have been vital for our recovery. Top player. don't really need to comment on van Persie, the whole world knows he's friggin awesome.
