Jenkinson Out To Repay Wenger's Faith

Jenkinson Out To Repay Wenger's Faith

Carl Jenkinson is delighted with the faith that Arsene Wenger has shown in him, but he knows the hard work begins now to prove he should be a first team regular.

Speaking to arsenal.com Jenkinson admitted his delight at playing so many games recently, and he's determined to make life hard when Sagna returns to fitness.

'It's a very flattering thing for him to do that and believe in me. Obviously I'm still young but I do think I'm capable of playing. It's up to me to play well, take my chances and make sure I keep that place.'

With Jenkinson commenting on his age, he also acknowledges that he has a lot left to learn and that his development is no where near over.

'There's more improvement for me to do and I know I have a lot more in me. I have to improve if I want to be a regular.'

Really rate the lad. Gives 100% every minute hes on the field. What an upgrade over Eboue - attitude wise.
