'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Park Life

When Arsenal signed Park Ju-Young from Monaco in the transfer window, we were under no illusions that his place in the team would be as a squad player, however, as the matches passed and we hadn`t been treated to seeing the Korean play at all, we began to wonder why we`d bothered.

However over the last few weeks we`ve been seeing a little bit more of him with each game, and were even privy to his finishing skills as the hard working striker finished with style to see us through to the quarter finals of the league cup.

Park now reveals that he hadn`t been able to train for two months prior to his move to North London which explains his lack of playing time, he also says he`s settling in quite well.

'I couldn't train much for about two months before I moved here. I just had to do some personal training instead', he told the club website

'Since I joined the team it has been two months and I feel like I am in my normal condition now.

'The coaches adjust the training depending on the games we play and it is good. I am settling off the pitch as well. All the Arsenal staff and everyone else have helped me. Also my wife is here so I don't have many problems settling down.'

Hope he breaks the no 9 curse at Arsenal. Looks like a hard working bloke. That cant be too bad, can it?
