Frimpong Growing In Confidence

Frimpong Growing In Confidence

Emmanuel Frimpong has said his outings in the first team this season have improved his confidence and his self belief.

Speaking to arsenal.com the youngster said with 11 first team games under his belt, and the obvious faith that Wenger has in him, has really helped to bring him on this season - especially after saying previously he didn't feel he was ready for the first team just yet.

'Around the time I made those comments I think I was just coming back from injury and I had doubts about my ability to do certain things. Since then I've been working hard on the training ground and now I believe in myself a bit more - I feel I've done well on the big stage. Hopefully I'll get more games under my belt before the season ends.'

Certainly looking like he could become a big player for us in the years to come, with more experience and further hard work on the training pitch he could be regularly Frimponging opponents next season.
