Carling Cup Was Not Our Best Chance This Season

Carling Cup Was Not Our Best Chance This Season

Johan Djourou has dismissed claims that Arsenal's best chance of silverware this season ended with the Carling Cup.

Speaking to arsenal.com following the defeat to Manchester City, Djourou said.

'I don't agree at all that the Carling Cup was our best chance. We're still in the Champions League, there's still the FA Cup and in the league there is along way to go.'

Djourou said he, and the rest of the team, were still battling and determined to do aswell as we possibly can this season and given the season doesn't end until May, there are still plenty of opportunities for us to celebrate and add something to the cabinet.

Well, he can't defend so perhaps it would be wise not to accept his judgement on the matter as the last word. Perhaps.
