Like A Fine Wine, Arsenal Have Matured

Arsene Wenger has said he sees more maturity in our team now and he believes we are reaping the benefits of greater experience on the pitch.

Speaking to arsenal.com after the convincing 4-0 demolition of Wigan, the manager said.

'We look more mature, I must say. You can feel that in the difficult moments of the game where we don't panic and don't give stupid goals away. That's very pleasing.'

Wenger believes a lot of this is down to those he signed in the summer, saying the likes of Arteta, Santos and Mertesacker have brought us a calming influence now they have settled down at the club.

Agree with the Manager there; which now highlights the question: why did he have to wait this long to heed the clamour for "experienced players" all this while? Hats off to Wenger though for being man enough to admit it.

Technology hazards!

Good win for Fulham....we retain 5th place and Senderos took one for the team (Fulham, that is :-) tonight, didn't he. Table getting easier on the eyes.

Mr brother, Naijagunner, technology will be the least of your hazards by the time your talisman, van Persie, picks up his well overdue sicknote. Mature my backside (mature ko, ripe ni!!!)

Absolutely great result for us. Though I like Liverpool, no room for sentiments. And as much as I hate stoke, I really do hope they can do us a favor next weekend.
Sajit
Lol, Roforofo. You must agree we need to wipe scum off the top 4 bracket; that part of the table deserves some respectability. @Sajit, I hope so too and will be rooting for them.
Naijagunner
Fact that scum are here wishing an injury on RvP shows how nervous they are...
Sajit
I just can not get how another human being like ROFOROFO can wish any one an injury, little wonder he is called roforofo another name for SCUM!! On another note good job Fulham

It'll be funny to see where Spurs reside once they hit that tasty run of 6 fixtures coming up. It's hillarious to hear people suggesting Spurs could win the title. I'm not usually one to talk things up before they happen because anything goes in football, but not only will Spurs not win the title, they won't even be close. Laughable to even suggest it.

Touche, Rocky7.

By the way just for the record i hope we both finish above Chelsea. I think it would be a "greater good" to see their Blood money funded false position as a top side return to something more natural further down the table.

roforofoSpurs two can play that game Modric to Chelsea Bale to Barca and van der poof broken leg how about that Richard Cranium? Nice to see three London clubs in the to five.

HY, similar thoughts here. No love lost between us but atleast your club competes fairly with other clubs.
