The Gap Isn't As Big As The Table Suggests

Wojciech Szczesny has said that the gap between Manchester City and Arsenal is smaller than the table suggests given our recent games against them.

Speaking to arsenal.com our goalkeeper said he didn't believe there was much difference in the quality of the teams when you look at our recent cup and league matches against them, and should give us heart to push on even further in the second half of the season.

'I don't think there is a big gap between the teams in terms of quality. They just got the winning goal and that was the difference, but we showed we are just as good as the richest team so that gives us confidence we can beat everyone else.'

You have as good a `Ball Playing Side 'as any one in the league so stick in there, tighten up at the back and who knows?

The good will is appreciated, but this myth that we're a free-scoring side with no defensive capabilities really has to be reviewed. If anything, the last month or two has shown us to be a side with a highly water-tight defence but who struggles for goals without RvP.

We are happy to take RVP in january if it helps your finances. By the way Nasri was absolutely superb last night.... jolly nice of you to let him go, especially as the gap clearly is not huge.
