Happy for van Persie and awed by how much of a leader he has become in this short time. Clearly, he wouldn't trade the 3 points for setting a new 'highest goals scored in Calendar year' record; with the goal at his mercy in the dying minutes of the game and the ball on his left foot, he displayed the highest level of team play you'd ever see by teeing the ball for Gervinho to have a go (he missed, of course). What a man!
