Coquelin Pens New Deal

Francis Coquelin has put pen to paper on a new long term deal at the club.

Featuring in the first team 12 times already this season following his successful loan at Lorient last season, Wenger clearly has high hopes for the lad.

Fantastic news. Still dont think both Frimpong nad Coq will survive at Arsenal. But I hope Im wrong.

Coquelin is a great find for Arsenal. His technique, tenacity, temperamen and ability to read the game are rare traits and its good to know he will spend a good part of his career with us.

in our current formation, we only play on deep seating defensive midfielder. frimpong & coquelin are queuing behind song. i think frimpong is more aggressive and dynamic while coquelin is more versatile and reads the game better. hope both of them could bring their game to the next level & have a long career here

Were you drunk when you wrote that comment Rocky? Haha. I like Coquelin, think he's fantastic with a mass of potential. I think he's better then Frimpong actually. Hope he does well for us.
