New Wilshere Blow

Jack Wilshere could be out until April after breaking down in training and suffering pain in his ankle.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard Wenger explained that Wilshere had suffered further complications with his ankle following his surgery.

'He has a pain again in his ankle. He has done nothing special, but he has pain and so we stopped him straight away. He had started running again and that's how he did it.'

Wenger added he didn't want to pre-empt anything as Wilshere was off to see a specialist today, so hopefully it's nothing too major but we'll probably get an update over the weekend.

New 4th spot trophy blow.

Very disappointing. Was looking forward to his return. Hope it's not for much longer.

Sajit, we already lost that a few weeks ago.

We seemed to be cursed with injuries. Perhaps our training pitches are too flat and firm. Its been rumoured previously.
