Sagna Delighted To Return To The Pitch

Bacary Sagna was thrilled to get back on the pitch after his injury lay off, and now his focus is on regaining his form and making the right back spot his own again.

Speaking to arsenal.com after his 5 odd minute cameo against Aston Villa, he said.

'I am absolutely delighted. It's been quite difficult all these months, four is a long time. Now I have to work even harder but I will do it. I am just biding my time to start a game now but I am not rushing, I just want to give the maximum to get myself into the best position.'

Sagna also thanked his family and friends for their support during his spell on the sidelines, and added.

'The fans have also supported me a lot and it was quite helpful when I was working during my recovery.'
