Injured Frimpong Returns Home

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong was due to spend the rest of this season on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers however a cruciate knee ligament injury sees that Ghanaian return home prematurely.

Frimpong had already had an injury scare at Wolves when he was kicked in the face a couple of weeks ago. At the time it was thought he could miss as much as three months, however the battling midfielder made a swift recovery.

However in a relegation battle with QPR on Saturday Frimpong suffered the injury that probably ended his season.
