Scan Will Give Indication Of Wilshere Return

Arsene Wenger says the next couple of days will give a good indication as to how long Jack Wilshere will remain on the sidelines.

The Arsenal midfielder has missed the entire season so far due to injury, and after suffering another set back he did look set to miss the rest of the season. However hope may spring eternal that he could return to action before the season`s end, but that could all be dependant on the results of the next scan.

'I hope that we will get good news from him because that is very important for Arsenal,' said Le Boss.

'This is the stage where the [latest] scan will be vital to decide when he will come back.'

At this stage I`m unsure whether I`d attempt to get Jack back this season unless I was 100% sure. If he plays this season then there`s little doubt he`ll be chosen for the Euros leaving him will little to no pre-season for next season.

It`d be much preferable to write this season off to ensure he`s fighting fit at the start of next season.
