The Champions League is back again, and with the season being as crazy as it is this might be our last run in it for at least a season, so we better make the most of it huh?
Tonight we face AC Milan in the San Siro, a team and stadium at which we`ve had great success in recent history, however our respective teams have changed a lot since then so we`re going into the unknown somewhat.
It appears as though Arsene Wenger has picked his most experienced squad available, leaving Thierry Henry and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the bench.

Good stuff.
Oh dear.
Its going to take the mother of all comebacks to progress to the next stage.
I DO wish other Spuds wouldn't take the p1$$ with quite so much OTT enthusiasm & childish put downs. There are better ways of doing it you know.
You lost in the San Siro by your largest ever margin in European games, when we won there last season to a better team, so KISS THIS!
I'm more interested in seeing just how long your moderator will leave that wiggly backside up there! LOL>
We're 4-0 down after the first leg to a side that I thought looked fantastic on the day. They scored four (fairly fortuitous) goals, but the reason they got them was that they had a good amount of the ball and were able to counter us consistently and well. We'll probably not go through to the next round, but that's life. If we don't win the champions league this year, will anyone be shocked?? Doubt it.
Tell me, you donut, where in my post did I compare our stadium plans with yours? Er, I didn't. YOU were the one who brought up stadium plans mate, not me. As far as was concerned it was an irrelevance not worth expanding on. As I actually said, "is that the best you can do?" From your last post, it seems it was.
Lets just wait & see how the plans stack up once fully built & then we can have a p1$$ing contest to see who's is the most philanthropic.
Cheers buddy.
COYS!!
There will be no closing of any gap after those games have been fulfilled!!
Ironic that NG has come on to VA at midday to insult those commenting at midday. Cant make it up
Arsene Wenger = Montgomery Burns
I've supported Spurs since i were a wee lad (MANY YEARS!) I remember the Duoble (Very Vaguely) I remember European Success (Very Drunkenly) I also remember the MANY MANY years of nothing!
but the one thing that stands out is the constant banter form Gooners - now its time for much needed, much awaited payback!
Wyn - i doff my hat at you sir for being the only gooner with what appears to be a voice and have the nerve to hang around taking it. your defence OF your club is worthy! however your defence AT your club is awful at the moment
And FYI i was speaking to your old captain (The donkey) at the weekend and he was gutted at how badly your guys are performing (and that was before last nights result!)
Wyn - Respect! COYS!!!
I therefore believe Sir you owe us thanks for more than increasing your footfall ;-)
as with the Newcastle result - we do try to help our neighbours that are in need ;-)
COYS!!!
How's your long term future looking? You've named 4 or 5 players that we need to be concerned about replacing, although they're already replaced ;-). You've got a whole bloody team/squad to replace. Ouch!!
Sajit, is that a dose of reality I see there buddy? Just goes to show that with you & Wyn Mills, there really are non delusional gooners out there.
however that said, maybe you better start getting some research done on teams like NEC, Braga, Legia, Plzen etc.
We can't have Monty telling your deluded fans (present company excluded) that these teams are a walk over as it's only the Europa! That's really about all you'll get next season!
And if thy're on the way back form Milan I bet its damn damn quiet on that plane?
COYS!!!
enjoy your decline too. few fans get the chance to see their club decline and disintegrate over 6 painful years the way you guys have. but it's not over yet; your failure to get a top 4 finish will be the real beginning of the end of Arsenal as a top English club.
Come on guy, let loose, have a laugh. You'll feel a lot better for it.
