If you`ve gotta go out, go out swinging.
And that`s exactly what we did.
We battled and battled looking for that knockout punch, but it remained elusive. Our attacking style left us vulnerable to a sucker punch, which threatened to materialise on a couple of occasions, but we stood tall and gave it everything.
In the end, AC Milan took the bout on points, but we have every right to be proud of our boys. Our mistakes may have put us in this position in the first place, but they did everything to right their wrongs.
The good thing about it is that we put out a performance to be proud of, and one that can be built upon. It gives us belief. It`s not a result that`s going to sap confidence.
If we can play like that till the end of the season, we`ll have no problems in qualifying for this competition for next season.
Well done boys, we`re proud of you.

Do you guys think that this is a turning point or are the cracks simply being papered over? Personally, I'm not convinced anything's really changed at your club, I thought the passing was well below your usual standard, in fact the Arsenal of last season would've kicked that Milan team, but then last years side wouldn't have lost 4-0 in the San Siro either.
Its going to be an interesting run in towards the end of the season to see who misses out on CL between us, you & the Chavs, looking forward to seeing what happens.
