Hypocrite Pardew Wants van Persie Phone Call

Newcastle manager, Alan Pardew thinks it would have been "nice" for Robin van Persie to give his goalkeeper, Tim Krul a phone call to apologise for the spat between the Dutch pair at Ashburton Grove last Monday.

The pair clash after an argument in the first half over the ridiculous amount of time the keeper was wasting, only for the situation to be compounded after Arsenal`s injury time winner in which Krul ran from his goal to confront Robin who was minding his own business walking back to the halfway line.

The Arsenal skipper promptly laughed in his face and chaos ensued.

However the Newcastle manager thinks it would be right and proper for van Persie to call the Newcastle man to explain his behaviour.

'Tim has suggested it is all forgotten, I am sure Van Persie is the same,' commented Pardew.

'It would perhaps be nice for Van Persie to call him and being the senior figure, which he is in the Dutch camp, say he perhaps got over-exuberant, and we can all move on.'

I`m wondering if Pardew called up Wenger to explain his over-exuberance after celebrating a late goal in the face of the Gunners manager at Upton Park a few years ago? No? Thought not. Bell end.

Don't recall Pardew suggesting Barton telephone Gervinho either earlier in the season? Christ, and people say Arsene is precious! Neither Krul nor van Persie did an awful lot wrong in this nothing incident. Krul's gutted cos he's just lost and races out of his goal, van Persie's elated cos he's just won and tells him to do one. ***** me, they're grown ups, I'm sure Krul's precious little feelings will mend in time.

Besides which, what would be the point in RvP calling Krul? Judging by his goalkicks, it'd take that **** about 20 minutes to answer his phone anyway.

Indeed LD. Wenger will whinge, but at least he whinges about the football. The amount of pansies crying about nothing incidents, handshakes, wearing jeans and a hoody, etc etc is ridiculous ... and they're all usually British. Cry babies the lot of them.

You know, this exact same thought occurred to me yesterday when I read Pardew's words. Breathtaking hypocrisy. Karma spits in their face and they can't get over it.

He calls when he wants, he calls when he waaannnttsss, Robin van Persie, he calls when he wants.

I suppose running over to another managers technical area and celebrating in their face isn't rubbing someone's nose in it? Someone with as much history in the "rubbings ones nose in it" department should keep his mouth shut me thinks.

Can you believe the man? That was a nothing incident influenced by the side of the result either player was on; something which players resolve with a hand shake or as will happen in this case, in the Dutch camp. One would think Managers will do their part to stamp out the excesses but Pardew has to be so precious about this and attempt to escalate things. He can go suck a lemon and if I have anything to do with it, whistle for that phone call, for all I care.

Get over yourself Pardew, silver haired fanny fart. Stop Krulling over spilt milk.

Pardew actually made sense in his post match conference when he agreed that Krul was wasting time. His suggestion that RvP call Krul is bizarre. A big deal was made of Wenger not shaking hands but if you look at the fuss that Mark Hughes has kicked up about managers 'not shaking his hand properly', it's amazing.
