'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Come On You #@%*ing Gunners!!

I usually try to write something pertinent in bold at the beginning of each article, but today I`ve got nothing.

Each time I try and write something relevant to the team selection or game, I feel sick, but this is what we, as football fans live for (maybe we`d prefer to be feeling this as we battled for a trophy, but the butterflies are still the same).

So I`m just going to give you the teams and then assume the prayer position.

Good luck Gooners!

Come on, we have to win this!!! We need to get a quick goal after half time, in fact 2 would be great, seeing how we are allergic to a one-goal lead in the last couple weeks. Van Persie, now would be a good time to break the PL goal-scoring-in-a-single-season record thank you very much!!!

I think the changes made to the defensive personnel had a hand in the apparent shaky defending. That's not to take anything away from the contributions of the two full backs. Song has left the DM role fully to Coquelin. Not such a bad thing if he didn't get bundled off the ball so easily and leaving the kid under pressure. We need to sort things out quickly and get some quick goals in succession to put this to bed.

What an end to the season. Two late goals to give it to City when United fans had brought out the glasses. Arsenal playing a game they don't know how to play: defending to hold a lead. Incredible but enjoyable stuff. Kudos to the EPL for giving the world such exciting moments.

But what a game. Once it got 2-1 I thought we might finish even 5th depending on other games. Now I'm kinda torn? Do you want Chelsea to win against Bayern so the Spuds don't get CL> That appeals to me on one level, but on the other I want Arsenal to be the first London team to win the CL

Hopefully the guaranteed CL place means we can get our signings done a bit earlier this summer. This squad needs massive improvement for us to compete again next season. AW seemed to be going through the same mental torment as the fans during the final 20 minutes. That should be enough motivation for him to improve our squad and make sure we can do much better next season so we're not in such a nail biting position again.

I'd prefer Bayern to win because as you say, Arsenal should be the first London team to lift the trophy. It would be funny seeing the spuds lose their CL place tho. I don't really care as long as we sign some quality players and get rid of the rubbish ones over the summer.

I think there are a lot of players that are going to leave over the summer..Denilson, Vela, Squillachi, Bendtner, Arshavin etc. AW always underplays the need for new players understandably. It's best to keep your cards close to your chest until any deal is finalised.

WHAT a mad day. Spain can keep Barca and Real, our Premier League is the most exciting. First it was United, then Citeh at the the death, then it was us for third, then Spuds, then US and first it was Bolton surviving, then QPR while pulling off a massive shock, then surviving anyway as a result of the result at stoke. MADNESS. Thank God it was alright-on-the-night for us though. Better season next year please for the Arsenal :)
