Arsenal XI to play Dartford F.C. and Chesham
It`s not yet been announced by Arsenal`s official site, but Dartford F.C. have today confirmed that the Arsenal XI will play Dartford in a pre season friendly at their Princes Park ground on Wednesday, 1st August kickoff 7.45pm. The Conference National side confirmed on their website today.
The Arsenal XI have already announced engagements at Borehamwood on 21st July and Stevenage on 28th July, with the team sent to Southampton to play 45 minute friendlies against Southampton and Glasgow Rangers on 14th July suspected to be largely made up of Youth and Reserve players. Arsenal are expected to confirm the date with the Darts on their site in the next 48 hours.
Update: Arsenal have also added a date with Chesham United on Saturday, 4th August into their diary. The game will take place at Chesham's Meadow Ground. Tickets £10 adults. Chesham has the distinction of being the most Northerly and Westerly stop on the London Underground, positioned as it is 25 miles away from Charing Cross (the official centre of London). Just your 26 stops from Liverpool Street on the Metropolitan Line...LD.
