dark as the trophy cabinet, eh Ramsey??
@Mq
nothing "shiny" in it...then again, do you even have a trophy cabinet??
@Mq
Don't you have a trial to go and be embarrassed about? Their captain is a racist their owner is a gangster, their fans are chavvy lowlife the chelski family de de de de click click
nikolaijns
smoke the peace pipe guys!
RATPACK
what uncertainty? he's not renewing the contract, so we move on.
Will-i-am10
It may come as a surprise to you Mq, so do sit down first. Football existed before 2005.. yes we know it sounds unbelievable but its true. Another shocker, Arsenal has 9 more PL titles than your club.
Deltaforce
the past is history, the future a mystery (more-so for you LoL) and the present is a gift, enjoy it...then again, what do you have to enjoy when players are jumping ship?? *pity*
@Mq
Sounds like your manager was certain Van Persie was leaving, despite all his nonsense in the press about keeping him. Don't you Arsenal fans ever get tired of being mushrooms?

I think most Arsenal fans have been clever enough to work out that you tend to fare better signing up replacements if you keep your mouth shut about these things. Otherwise Giroud in particular would probably have cost us more (hence the "not being cornered" comment). Besides, if you take the trouble to read the actual article, Grimandi says Giroud is a contingency plan in case we lose van Persie. We're still trying to keep him (at least that's what we're saying publicly, because, again, that makes good sense in the market so as not to attract low bids), but if we can't, we've replaced him early anyway.

I always have to laugh at the idiocy of football fans talking about our empty trophy cabinet because we haven't won anything for a while. Do we have to wipe history away after a certain amount of time? Because the last time I checked Arsenal's trophy cabinet was the third fullest in football history! Not premier league history .... football history. That said, in PL history ours is still pretty damn full.
Rocky7
and you'll forever reside in "history" at this rate ROCKY how valuable is that??
@Mq
History has to be important to football fans ... without it you don't have anything. Man City don't have a title, Chelsea don't have CL trophy and we don't have ... well ... more than 89 other English teams. History has no decernable time frame, history are events that happened in the past, you can't cherry pick a certain length of time to suit your argument. You can argue that we might not ever win a trophy again, but that's futile, no-one can predict the future, but you can't now, nor ever discuss the acquisition of silverware without goning back to the very begining. But we all know you won't be prepared to do that as all you've got to wave is a tiny party sausage whilst we've got the relative Ron Jeremey WMD.
Rocky7
Mq, speaking of the future all the pity is directed to you tied as you are to the whims of a chav gangster. Di Matteo (who you absolutely adore!) is the biggest lameduck manager in the history of football. Your gangster boss insults any manager he appoints by undermining him and overruling him while cosying up to a clique of overpaid & over the hill players. Pity.
Deltaforce
Mq, please dont try a limerick again. You are pathetic at that, as you are at many other aspects of life.
Sajit
a little bit more history for all you tossers who keep banging on about how long arsenal have gone without winning a trophy,since the inception of the football league inthe early 1800s guesss which team has never repeat never been relegated from the top flight, and guess which team has been the only one to go unbeaten in the premier league and all that without the help of russian or arab billions,look to your own limited or non existent history and how many league championships, including doubless, fa cups and chaampions league qualifications your club has managed inthe past 200 odd years
cornish gooner
I only knew 2 Chelsea supporters before 2005 and I was bought up in London.....
radarman
it hurts to be a bona fide loser. Makes you so envious you :)
@Mq
Don't fret though, the Emirates will be donating a cup to you sometime soon so you'll celebrate something LoL
