Hopeful is a word used when you have no real confidence in any given situation or the situation is outside of your control. For example: Hopefully I will win the lottery.

I can't imagine that he would change his mind, but if he would I'm sure we'd have one of the most potent strike forces in the league, in fact only Man City could boast one as strong. Not bad considering we were a team one hamstring injury away from scoring vew few goals last season.

why would Van Persie want to stay with perennial losers when he can get better options of winning something elsewhere??

The Enirates Cup is donated to you Arse's and that's the only silver you have a chance of winning. Players are ambitious and want to win things, so why play for a 'EPL academy' club??

Basically he's doing a Rooney and holding the club to ransom by using other clubs interest in him and his importance to the team. Whilst Rooneys legend status might still be intact with most of the fanbase there's still a fair few of us who are *****ed off with what he done, recognise the issue it is now causing (players not wanting to sign new contracts because they want more money) and he's far from legend status with us.

I'm not sure no7, this video does and says nothing other than give gooners false hope and attract hits for the same reason. Still my feeling he's off, have seen nothing anywhere to suggest otherwise.

I just wish things could get sorted really soon. Didn't like the look on Wenger's face in the latest pictures of the team in training. Tuesday, wasn't it?
