Squad To Face Boreham Wood Announced

Arsenal have announced the 18 man squad that will take on Borehamwood this Saturday for Terry Burton's first game in charge as Arsenal's Reserve Team manager. Looking at the squad, we can assume the likes of Kyle Bartley, Nico Yennaris, Benik Afobe, Henri Lansbury and possibly even Chuks Aneke will be travelling to Asia with the first team.

The squad is a mixture of established second string players such as Jernade Meade- who signed a new deal this summer- Sanchez Watt and Conor Henderson, as well as scholars looking to push for a regular slot in the Reserves next season, such as striker Philip Roberts, Swedish youngster Kristofer Olsson and Chuba Akpom. January signing Thomas Eisfield is also in the squad.

Full squad:

Damian Martinez
James Shea
Martin Angha
Daniel Boateng
Sead Hajrovic
Jernade Meade
Elton Monteiro
Kyle Ebecilio
Samir Bihmoutine
Josh Rees
Jordan Wynter
Phillip Roberts
Hector Bellerin
Kristoffer Olsson
Chuba Akpom
Sanchez Watt
Conor Henderson
Thomas Eisfeld

I will be attending the fixture and a match report will appear on these pages on Sunday. LD.
