Gunners To Play Internal Friendly

With the cancellation of the friendly in Nigeria scheduled for tomorrow, Arsene Wenger hinted last week that Arsenal would play an internal training ground friendly. It appears opponents haven't been found at such short notice, but an internal friendly with the Reserves looks to be taking place.

An educated guess sees the Arsenal XI squad for Chesham announced tomorrow, not featuring staple Reserve figures such as Craig Eastmond, Kyle Bartley, Ignasi Miquel, Chuks Aneke, Serge Gnabry, Martin Angha, Sanchez Watt, Thomas Eisfeld and Damian Martinez all not involved. The squad to face Chesham is virtually an U-18s side with James Shea, Jernade Meade and Hector Bellerin the most senior names in the 18 man squad.

The supposition that the Reserves will pit their wits against the first team tomorrow is backed up by the ever reliable @AFCamden who confirms their will be a training ground friendly. He also tweeted earlier that Santi Cazorla passed his medical and met the players at London Colney today. Arsenal U-18 player Arinse Prince Uade also tweeted earlier 'Godo to see Santi Cazorla at the training ground today #afc.'

The squad for Chesham is as follows:

1. James Shea

2. Hector Bellerin

3. Elton Monteiro

4. Zachari Fagan

5. Jernade Meade

6. Isaac Hayden

7. Jack Jebb

8. Kristoffer Olsson

9. Josh Rees

10. Philip Roberts

11. Nigel Neita

12. Martin Angha

13. Josh Vickers

14. Chuba Akpom

15. Alfred Mugabo

16. Samir Bihmoutine

17. Austin Lipman

18. Glen Kamara

Tickets at The Meadow will be available on the gate at £10 for adults, £6 concessions, £3 for 12-16 year-olds, and £1 for under-12s.
