Oxlade-Chamberlain Out Of Sunderland Game

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has confirmed he will miss out on the season opener at home to Sunderland today after taking a minor knock in the final pre-season friendly against Koln last week.

Using the popular medium of Twitter, The Ox confirmed he`d be out.

Gutted I`m not fit for the game today but I'm buzzin for the lads... The prem is back! What a day for it as well.

Whilst it would have been great to have the option of Chamberlain in the side, it does seem to be a relatively minor knock and hopefully he`ll be available for the Stoke game next week.
