Park Joins Celta Vigo

Park Joins Celta Vigo

South Korean striker Park Chu Young has joined Cleta Vigo on a 1 year loan deal. Park was a late purchase in the summer 2011 transfer window. Park was all ready to join Lille from Monaco until Arsenal hijacked the deal at the 11th hour. Quite why I'm not sure.

He did manager one pretty sweet goal in the Carling Cup against Bolton, but his Premiership record reads- 6 minutes, 4 touches, 0 goals. His signing will go down as one of the biggest mysteries since some fella noticed crop circles.

It's a strange one alright, but best of British to Park.

Feel sorry for the lad. Never really got a chance to prove himself here. Hope he is a success at Celta.
