Bendtner Joins Juve

After a summer of postulating over mystery demands, Nicklas Bendtner has finally left the building. After a pretty frustrating loan spell at Sunderland last year, where he clocked up as many police incidents as goals, the Dane will try his mettle in Serie A.

Nick goes to Turin on an initial 12 month loan deal with a view to a £5m permanent deal next summer. After missing out on van Persie, Llorente and Berbatov, Juve closed their eyes and took a group for the big striker.

Juventus wanted RvP and ended up with Bendtner! It would be funny if we were well stocked in the striker department ourselves!

Rather frustrating that there's been so much time to get shot of players yet we're still sending the deadwood out on loan.
Rocky7
To be fair i think the bulk of Arsenals' dead wood is in our admin dept. What on earth is going on?

Wheres my glue.. I need some serious booze tonight. Gutted. We going into the season with 100% potential , 0% proven track record.

Would have been nice to move on Bendtner permanently, but at least he's off the wage bill.
prits
The fact that all he can get is a Loan move as a squad player, at the close of the window, should serve as a reality check for Nicklas and his advisers. He spent much of last season vowing he won't be with Arsenal this season and the summer mouthing off about the number of big clubs that were in for his signature. His agents may have been feeding his ego, telling him stuff, now it's egg in his face.
Naijagunner
I actually think he may be a success in Italy. It is a slower paced league and Juventus have enough creativity in that side to create chances aplenty for him, unless he reverts back to the 'Barn Door Nick Bendtner version'. Agree that Juve must be feeling a bit downbeat right now though. After pursuing Llorente and RVP, they now end up with Bendtner. Even their president admitted as much. Its like wanting a PS3 or an Xbox 360 for Christmas but getting lumbered with a PS2.

Rumour is that they were so desperate for a striker Bendtner was their last option
LeFondle18
They had to be desperate to land Bendtner, really;-)
