Mr Wenger seems intent on winning this tie a canter as he breaks out his secret weapon, Marouane Chamakh, in a surprise move that will excite Gooners the world over*

What an unbelievable game 7 - 5 from 4 - 0 down.
phreddy
one of the most unbelievable matches of football i have ever seen. we were beyond ***** poor in the first half. this is what it must have felt like to be newcastle!
Stateside Gooner
Its the end of the fcking world I tell you
Sajit
Wow. Just wow. THIS is what football is all about, not prioritising competitions.

i don't know if there should be a cause for optimism due to the spirit shown tonight or huge concern for the man united match this weekend...
Stateside Gooner
@ Stateside Gooner - Cause for optimism plus concern, Man United have a ***** midfield and they concede goals for fun, we have a quality midfield and concede goals for fun. Anyway I think I laughed throughout the entire game, the only thing which could've improved it is if all the Arsenal players were wearing It's A Knockout giant Wenger heads.
Professor Calculus
@ Professor - so you're saying to expect another shootout this weekend? Ha I don't think my heart/head can take another one of these...
Stateside Gooner
@Professor - you laughed throughout the game, give me some of what you're on lol, I just wanted to bury my head (or punch the wall!)
DBerg
Wenger doesn't look happy at all in his post match interview.
DBerg
@DBerg - Come on! After all the comedy Arsenal have given us in the past few years it's impossible to get angry anymore. We know Wenger's post Highbury teams are capable of anything at both ends of the spectrum. Beat Barcelona>>>blow a four goal lead>>>come back from 4-0 down>>>always lose to newly promoted sides>>>look like title contenders>>>look mid table. You just have to laugh.

Lol I'm trying I really am but I'm still too emotionally attached to this club, need to find some way to remove myself - maybe drugs???
DBerg
i hope the arsenal fans will not be too quick to witch hunt some of our players like chamakh, arshavin & walcott. some of the guys playing today have not really had the chance to prove themselves in the first team. give them a string of games (in their suited position) and im sure they will come good. we cant play with the same 11 week in week out, they undoubtedly will get stale and predictable.
supersof
Walcott's hat trick reaffirmed his status as a serious goal threat - one of our few currently. Marouane Chamakh - take a bow! Two superb finishes - the last goal was as good a goal we have scored this season. Fantastic and shambolic game and I hope we tighten up our game away from home at OT.
Deltaforce
My ticket cost £15 last night. £1.25 per goal.
Little Dutch
Don't understand fans fearing OT on Saturday because of yesterday's showing, only Walcott and Giroud may play and none of the back five (bar any injuries).
