The Bradford Factor

Arsenal have been drawn away at Bradford City in the Quarter Finals of the Capital One Cup. The tie will take place week commencing the 12th December, 2012 at Valley Parade- now known as the Coral Windows Stadium (!)

With Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester United all having tumbled out last night and Manchester City having been eliminated at the first hurdle, Arsenal have been installed as second favourites behind Chelsea to land the Milk Cup.

Elsewhere Chelsea will play Leeds, Norwich face Aston Villa and Swansea will play Middlesbrough. Arsenal haven't met Bradford for 12 years, since the League 2 side were a Premiership outfit boasting the likes of Stan Collymore and Benito Carbone. In their two years in the top flight, Bradford beat Arsenal at home and held them to a draw in 2000-01. I'm sure the editor of this here site will be rather pleased with this draw!

I am guessing the editor is a Bradford fan? How so? There has to be a good story in there somehow.
