Frimpong Joins Charlton on Loan

Frimpong Joins Charlton on Loan

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has joined Championship side Charlton Athletic on loan until January 1st. Frimpong had stated his preference for a loan move following his return from a second cruciate ligament injury of his career this autumn. Wolves were understood to be interested, but cooled their enquiries due to concerns over his fitness.

But Frimpong will join the South London club in a bid to step up his recovery. Noises from the club suggest that a permanent move away from the club could be on the cards in January.

Looks like Wolves fans (given their really poor form) are well hacked off they couldn't get Frimpong back http://www.wolvesblog.com/5275/from-dench-to-stench

Well, they should take it out on their Manager. He has suggested Frimpong wasn't fit, so it's his loss, I'd think. As for the speculation of a January move away, it will be an unexpected end to his Arsenal career, should that happen. He is Arsenal, through and through, has friends here and is someone you can rely on, going to war. One has to accept his opportunities will be limited and maybe, it is for the best if it comes to it.

he is a player I feel who has real potential, but like so many youngsters needs game time especially after such a bad injury
