Very tough, but still winnable. Of course I will be rooting for the Germans ;-)

That's very kind of you oxfordspur but will Podolski and Mertesacker appreciate your support I wonder? :/
Amos.
Definitely doing this one, come on Arsenal,
shewore
Get in! Not the B i was hoping for.. but still a very good draw..

Wasn't this pretty much the exact same draw they pulled out in rehearsals the other day? We drew Bayern, utd drew madrid and barca drew Milan?
nikolaijns
Um yeah the rehearsal draw was EXACTLY the same - they obviously liked it ....http://redlondon.net/2012/12/19/picture-gunners-handed-tough-draw-in-uefa-rehearsal-draw/

Could have had an easier draw but could have had tougher ones too. Don't understand the gloom about being drawn against Bayern - isn't this what the Champions League is about? Every game will be tough, no easy teams - you want easy teams join the spuddies in Europa!

We have a terrible record against German sides... I think. Is that right? Anyway, a tough draw but I've come to realise the quality of the opposition means nothing to Arsenal, we can beat a peak Barcelona and lose to Bradford, it's all about beating our own demons first. If we do that then we have a real chance. The other night I saw flashes of vintage 2002-2003 Arsenal at the madejski stadium.

Lol, Amos, re your retort to the spud. Good one.

At this stage of the CL, every game will be tasking; they may be tagged the favourites to win the tie but, I feel either team can win, depending on what Arsenal side turns up for the 2nd leg. Look forward to the game with memories of our 05/06 run in mind; we did overcome some very good teams on the way to meeting Barca in the Final.

end of the road for gunners

Munich has the best beer LD :). Make sure there is enough time to visit a couple of biergartens. Tough draw this one, but still a long way to go to figure out whether we would have hit form by then.

GoodBye gunners,u are gonna be mugged in munich, just enjoy the trip and forget the defeat

This has the hallmarks of a great tie. Should be some great attacking football on show, from BOTH sides :)
