Wenger Rules Out King Henry III

Arsene Wenger has ruled out taking Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, on loan to give him his third period at the club.

The all time leading goal-scorer for Arsenal made an unexpected return to North London last season after spending a short time training with the club. Many people saw it as nothing more than a publicity stunt to try and lift the spirits around the club, and whilst that might have been the case, Thierry`s second spell at the club proved absolutely pivotal to securing a place in this season`s Champions League.

After scoring the winner vs Leeds United in his second debut for the club, Henry grabbed a last gasp winner away at Sunderland that without which would have seen us finish in 4th spot and ultimately in the Europa League.

However despite the Frenchman training at the club once again during the off-season of the MLS Wenger has ruled out another loan.

"Thierry is not ready and has just come back from holiday. At the moment we are not on that case. He goes away somewhere. But I will be active in the market. We are looking everywhere, we are open minded. We want to strengthen the squad." Said Le Boss.

Whilst it would have been awesome to see Titi come home once again we really do need to be making more positive and long term strides in the transfer market. Henry will always be loved in the red and white half of North London however practicality and longevity is far more important than sentimentality at this stage of the season.

"He goes away somewhere" suggests Henry will certainly be moving to another side on loan. Hope that is somewhere in the continent.

I don't think 'he goes away somewhere' means he signs for another club on loan, I think it means he goes away somewhere and has a well deserved rest before beginning training with Red Bull NY. The legend IS 35 years old. Sure that's younger than Giggs but Giggs is a cheating c***. Anybody remember when he feigned getting an elbow from Campbell that got Campbell sent off? He is and always was a cheat, but that is part of the Ferguson culture. People admire Fergie for his success, nobody mentions the vile cheating culture of his club. It's funny, Arsenal has players that are chastised for diving once or twice and branded cheats, yet Man Ure has players that do it every other game and the commentators on TV say they are commendable because they will do anything to win. If Theo was Ashley Young or Gareth Bale, he would have thrown up his arms and looked at the ref after being hacked down in the box against Newcastle, but he just got up and continued and scored. Credit to the ref for playing advantage there by the way. There was also a goal earlier in the season where Cazorla got hacked down just outside the box, go up and laid off a pass for a goal. There was as much contact on Cazorla as in any of Bale's five dives this season. Bale claims they aren't dives, he's trying to avoid injury. Translation - I'm as chicken as the badge on my crest. It's a partial-contact sport monkeyboy, if you are that frightened of a tackle maybe you should sign up with the new women's professional league starting up in the US next spring. Sorry for the digression, but there is a link - legend > legendary cheat > cureent cheat.

To clarify, there was as much contact as in the Cazorla 'dive', not in the outside the box hacking down which was a clear foul.
