Brighton Away If Arsenal Win Replay

Arsenal have drawn Brighton in the next round of the FA Cup should we be able to concentrate long enough in the replay not to shoot ourselves in the foot once again.

The Gunners drew 2-2 at The Liberty after coming back from a goal down to lead through two superb goals from Lukas Podolski and Kieran Gibbs, only to make a balls of it late on.

However the draw went on regardless and we (or Swansea) were given the task of beating Brighton at their own ground.

The game will be played on the weekend of January 26.

That's a good fixture. Brighton can play football. They were good against Newcastle. That maybe because Newcastle weren't very good but likely to be a game worth watching.
Amos.
All Arsenal games are worth watching Amos .... even when we're s***.
Rocky7
Yeah but some are worth watching more than others. I like the look of this one if we get there. Not going to be at all comfortable I fear though.

When is our replay with Swansea anyways? And can we get that Michu fella.. If nothing atleast that will stop him from scoring against us.

I beat Brighton 2-0 in Fifa 13 FA Cup. Sign of things to come. :)

Time was you would look forward to comfortably seeing off teams like Swansea and Brighton. Not any more.

Hmm so the replay is sandwiched between City and Chavski.. Get in the cavalry Wenger!!!

The standard of footie has gone up all through the leagues and I think that is something to celebrate, even though it makes our life harder. What I really liked about today was that they fought for it. Gibbs was brilliant. However, today and Southampton kind of crystallised for me why I'm not totally comfortable with the idea of Walcott being our top striker and his reported pay demands. In circumstances that suit him, he's fantastic, in addition, I've always thought of him as a big game player. But he's not consistent or reliable enough - yet. Games like today's are the ones in which your top striker should come up with a decisive goal, somehow. That is what Henry and the Dutch Badger, or Cesc would have done. And in a few months, I reckon Poldi will be doing it, too.Walcott is still a bit too streaky. Just a thought.

I hope Wenger prioritises the replay, ignoring the Chav game. A decent shot at a trophy, if we can get past Swansea.

we should definately play as strong side vs Swansea, but ignoring the Chelsea game is craziness. It doesn't just take a good run in the cups to win the tournament, it takes luck too (see our 2005 FA Cup, Liverpool's 2001 and Chelsea's CL win), and we're still a long way off. Chelsea are one of our closest rivals in the league, the chase for fourth is as close as it's ever been. We can not neglect that.

Brighton have made a fortress out of their home ground. Tough game there.
