'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Match Discussion - Man City (h)

As most members of Vital Arsenal know, this network has been made by football fans, for football fans and without you, (and the advertising banners) we wouldn`t be here.

The whole purpose of the network is to interact with like-minded football fans.

I`ve been editor of Vital Arsenal for coming up to 7 years now, and whilst our article comments section gets a decent amount of usage our forum has become a little stagnant over the last 12-18 months, and like any honest manager, I have to take the blame for that.

So with a viewing to restoring the forum to its glory days (hopefully Arsene and the boys can follow suit) I hope to implement a number of changes to encourage people to use all the facilities on our site.

To kick us off I`ll be posting links to our match-day discussion threads on the front page. Of course we usually have match previews, team news and match reports on the site though they are only usually posted with-in a 24 hours period of the game, so starting today we`ll be posting a match discussion thread in the forum (and of course linking it to the front page) so we can discuss the upcoming game ahead of time without it getting lost in a whole host of news and opinionated articles.

We start this off with a thread for our game on Sunday as we host the current Premier League champions Manchester City.

Do you think we can win? Who will be playing? Who should be playing? Are you going to the game? Will Theo be playing through the middle?

You can discuss which ever game related topics you like simply by clicking here .

If you haven`t registered for the network you can do so by clicking on the banner directly below.

Oh bugger, the links have disappeared. Gimme a couple of minutes to fix them.

Done.

I'd also like to remind people that views and discussions with rival fans are welcome. Just behave yourselves eh?

Fair play to the Citeh fans sending their briefs back, hopefully the hacks can get on board with how effin ridiculous it is to go football - especiially Arsenal - these days.

Hasn't really worked has it? :-) Same problems for Arsenal Australia Supporters Club forums over here. Perhaps the forum structure needs to be simplified and match day debates moved to the comments only. So much happens (so easily, pumped direct to you) on Twitter and FB for fans that we (they) no longer go looking far beyond those sources and favourite blogs comment sections #toomanychoices

good luck against Citeh.... we need you to take pts off them. if you do, I think you could well finish above Everton this year.
