Be A Gunner Be A Runner

Be A Gunner Be A Runner

I realise January isn`t the best time to ask for charitable donations and the like, but there you have it. That`s exactly what I`m about to do. On Saturday, 23rd March I, along with 749 others, will be running ten laps around Arsenal`s Emirates Stadium (a distance of 6.4km) in aid of the Arsenal Foundation Charity. (It`s not a cheeky title for Arsenal`s transfer fund. I think we`ve paid quite enough into that already).

The Arsenal Foundation is an umbrella project accounting for a number of charitable initiatives, principally aimed at young people. Save the Children is one such example of a partnering charity, but the Foundation also supports and helps to fund community projects for young people in London and all over the world too. Education and recreation are the key focuses of its projects for young children and teenagers. You can read a bit more about the work the foundation does here.

So, should you wish to sponsor me for my efforts and contribute to this very worthwhile cause, you can do so here. If not, no worries. You`re just a terrible person, that`s all. (Joking…or am I?)

Ta muchly for your time.

Tim

Good luck, Tim. Good cause too. The site required donors to enter payment card PIN (at the card issuer verification page). That can't be right, can it? It got me stalling.
